Eckhard Groll is the professor in Purdue University, who is famous for the expertise in refrigeration theory and application research. He made achievements in the research of absorption compression refrigeration, microchannel heat transfer, micro compressor, supercritical carbon dioxide cycle. He was employed by Shanghai Jiaotong University and University of Shanghai for Science and Technology as a Ministry of Education’s famous foreign teacher in 2013.

He was invited by dean Zhang Hua to have three-day lecture and colloquium. Faculty arrange for a office to have this activity. Topic: Novel Compression and System Concepts to Achieve High-Efficiency Heat Pumps, especially miniature compressors, and CO2 heat pump, microchannel heat exchangers.
12:00-13:00: Lunch
