The 2020 teachers' teaching skills competition of our School was held successfully

In order to implement the general requirements of suspended class, ongoing learning during the epidemic prevention and control period, improve the ability of information-based teaching, and boost the construction of the first-class undergraduate action plan, we held the 2020 teaching skills competition of teachers in our school in room 208, Block B of comprehensive building at 1:30 p.m. on May 14. Sixteen teachers took part in the competition. Five teachers, Prof. Yu Min, Prof. Chen Ertong, Prof. Tao Leren, Prof. Li Chun and Prof.  Zhang Shouyu, were the judges, and Prof. Wu Weidong, the vice-president of the college, was the chair.

The competition is divided into three categories which are blackboard design, PPT courseware production and micro class teaching video. The teachers participated in the competition with full of spirit and preparation.

The judges made deep and wonderful comments on each participating teacher's teaching performance, and gave suggestions on the structure of blackboard writing, the preciseness, sense of beauty of design, contrast of color and deployment of content of PPT text, the technical application of micro video, the speed and rhythm of teaching language, background music and subtitles. The atmosphere of the activity was active, which attracted many teachers to watch and study.

After more than three hours of fierce competition, Yang Liang won the first prize of blackboard design. Dr. Zhang Wanfu, Dr. Chen Jiaxing and Dr. Yang Yingying won the first prize of PPT courseware production. Dr. Huang Xiaohuang, Dr. Yang Yang and Dr. Wei Yan won the first prize of micro class teaching video production. Dr. Fang Yidong and other eight teachers won the second prize respectively.

After the competition, the judges and teachers communicated with each other, encouraged teachers to make full use of the resources of smart classroom in Teaching Building I, constantly updated teaching concepts and innovated teaching methods, kept various courses the same pace and direction with ideological and political theory courses, took Morality Cultivation as the fundamental task of education, and put more enthusiasm into the education and teaching of the college.
