On May 26th, Professor Giorgio Pavesi from the University of Padua came to our school for teaching and academic communications, aiming to promote cooperation and exchange between the two schools in the field of energy and power.
The communication meeting was chaired by Professor Yang Huinan, Vice Dean of the college, and emphasized the importance of academic exchange and cooperation, as well as the shared vision of the two universities in the field of energy and power engineering. Afterwards, Giorgio Pavesi also systematically introduced the basic situation and discipline construction of the University of Padua. They stated that the University of Padua and Shanghai Institute of Technology will take this exchange conference as an opportunity to strengthen academic cooperation and promote the development of academic research and education between both sides.
After the meeting, Professor Giorgio Pavesi gave a report on the topic of Padova University Turbomachinery and Energy Group today and future research at the American Communication Center, introducing and sharing the latest research results and technological progress on rotating machinery at the University of Padova. He also discussed relevant cutting-edge topics in the field of impeller rotating machinery with our teachers and students.
The successful holding of this exchange conference will lay a solid foundation for future academic exchange and teaching cooperation between the two schools. Professor Giorgio Pavesi and teachers from the School of Energy and Mobility have expressed their expectation for more opportunities for communication and cooperation in the future to jointly promote innovation and progress in energy and power engineering.
